In 2016, at a phone shop in Jeddah, I asked to try selling online. Within a month the online side was moving more than 60 phones a day, more than five physical branches combined. Then it passed 1,000 orders a day.
Twelve years later I lead digital marketing at Match and the brands in its group, with multi-million-riyal monthly budgets. The question from that shelf has not changed.
