Mohannad
Barahma

Performance and growth marketing manager, Jeddah. I help brands get more sales out of the ad budget they already have.

Mohannad Barahma, looking straight at the camera

That was a curiosity gap. Hold back one piece of information and people travel to get it. It is how I write the first three seconds of an ad.

At twelve I spent long days in the office where my father worked, surrounded by hundreds of books. I kept returning to one shelf: psychology. Why people choose. What changes a decision. Why one message lands and another disappears.

Read the rest of the story

In 2016, at a phone shop in Jeddah, I asked to try selling online. Within a month the online side was moving more than 60 phones a day, more than five physical branches combined. Then it passed 1,000 orders a day.

Twelve years later I lead digital marketing at Match and the brands in its group, with multi-million-riyal monthly budgets. The question from that shelf has not changed.

“He wants to leave a fingerprint on marketing itself.”

Where I have led marketing

  • Match
  • 22 Communications
  • Aazr Digital Agency
  • Attas Marketing
  • JoudEast

A Saudi oud brand sells SAR 20,000 a day. I get three months. What does it sell per day after that?

SAR 20,000

Two shops spend the same SAR 1.8M a month on ads. The first gets SAR 1.90 back for every riyal. The second gets SAR 3.50. Since you opened this page, the second shop has pulled ahead by

SAR 0

Same budget. Same month. The only difference is how well the ads are run. Closing that gap is my job: at Aazr I took 15+ client accounts from the first shop's numbers to the second's.

Notice that you are still watching the number. A loss that grows in front of you is harder to ignore than the same loss printed on paper. It is called loss aversion, and it is how I get a leadership team to act on a leak.

Show me the maths

SAR 1.8M x (3.5 - 1.9), divided by the seconds in a 30-day month, is SAR 1.11 every second. Marketers call the riyals that come back for each riyal spent ROAS, return on ad spend. At Aazr the average went from 1.9 to 3.5 across 15+ accounts with a team of five, and the cost of winning a customer fell 25 to 40%.

Run it on my own numbers
SAR 300,000
2.0
3.5

Arithmetic, not a promise. What is reachable depends on margins, product and tracking, and finding that out is what a first audit is for.

Other results

A gift, before I ask you for anything.

Four yes-or-no questions, thirty seconds. At the end I tell you where your ad money is most likely leaking, and the one thing to fix first.

    Leakproof Coffee Co.

    Order a coffee.

A made-up coffee shop, a real pricing trick. Pick the size you would actually buy.

Ten logos. Your eye has already picked one.

These are the platforms I work in every day. Point at any of them, or tap, to see what I do there. The page is noting which one you go to first.

    Nothing picked yet.

Pick a business. I will make its ad.

Two choices: what the business sells, and how the ad should make people feel. I design the ad the way it would really appear on each platform.

    Badges work on you

People trust a seal before they read it. That is authority bias, and it is why credentials belong near a checkout. So don’t take these on sight. Ask me for any credential ID and check it with the issuer.

Arabic is my first language. I work in English.

Your session, reported the way I report a campaign

Mohannad Barahma, hand on chin, thinking

I learned this in a few minutes, with no budget and no tracking pixel. Nothing was sent anywhere: open your network tab and check. Once this site is online it even carries a browser rule that forbids it from sending data at all. Now picture your customers, a clean event schema, and someone reading it every week.

    Email me WhatsApp me

Your report is pre-filled in the message, so I know who I am talking to. Delete it if you prefer. No mail app on this device?

There is no countdown timer on this page. Fake urgency converts once and costs the brand twice.

If we worked together, your first 90 days

A sketch, built from a few minutes of your behaviour. The real plan starts with a proper look at your numbers.

      What owners ask me first

What do you need from me to start?Less than you think.

Access to your ad accounts, your store or app analytics, and one honest hour about your margins. Before I touch a single ad, I check whether your numbers can be trusted. Everything after that depends on it.

Do you replace my team, or work with it?Either, depending on what you have.

As a consultant I fix the path to purchase, build the system, and hand back something that runs without me. I have also led a team of five and whole agency departments, so I can coach the people you already have instead of replacing them.

What happens when an ad fails? Some will. That is the point of testing.

Nobody wins every campaign. I treat a failed ad as research you already paid for: stay calm, read the numbers, understand what happened, adjust, and test again, smarter. It is why I test small before I spend big.

How will I know it is working? You will not need to ask.

One short report every week, in plain language, with the decisions already in it. You will always know what was spent, what came back, and what I am changing next.

Go deeper, if you are curious

Everything below is optional. It is what a marketer would want to see next, and each part opens with one click.

So what actually convinced you?The same visit, credited three different ways.

      So what actually convinced you?

The nine experiments that ran on youWhat each one was, how you responded, and the ones still open.

        Nine experiments ran on you

The ladder you climbedThe one trick underneath this whole page.

          The ladder you climbed

I never asked for the big yes first. Each step was a slightly larger yes than the one before it: move, scroll, guess, choose, build, share your numbers. It is called foot-in-the-door. People stay consistent with what they have already done, and it is how I sequence every funnel, from the first three seconds of an ad to the checkout.

Your lead score and your place in my funnelHow a marketer would file you, with the points shown.
